Ben Kennedy, Zygoat's founder and owner, has training and experience in HD production and post-production. Ben has contributed to a variety of products ranging from corporate training videos to short comedic and dramatic films, and has also worked as assistant editor on several feature-length television MOWs.

Ben is trained in and equipped with Final Cut Pro and Steinberg Nuendo for video and audio post, and is also interested in all aspects of small video production—ranging from planning, shooting, editorial and post-production to final delivery.
Based on his experience as an assistant editor, Ben designed and developed First Assistant, a post-production workflow utility for the Mac.
